Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible to plan and manage the turnkey projects from inception to completion within the agreed specification, quality standards, budgets and timelines. He/ She is also responsible for the entire upkeep and maintenance of the stores, office and warehouse. This would involve executing administrative and organizational skills for ensuring that all maintenance activities are seamlessly completed.
• Manage and plan the shop interior fit out from the conception through to the implementation in order to ensure that projects are delivered on time and the cost and quality standards are maintained.
• Analyze the technical drawings in order to ensure the feasibility of project designs and engineering activities that are consistent with the project design.
• Identify and recommend project resources for procurement, provide specifications, perform technical evaluation / assessment of quotes and ensure effective follow up where appropriate
• Liaise and coordinate with the mall management in order to ensure necessary approvals, permits and associated documentation is in place
• Liaise and coordinate with third party contractors in order to ensure that schedules and programs of work are properly communicated, operating procedures and standards are adhered to and the work of multiple contractors is properly coordinated
• Oversee on-site construction works in order to ensure that operations are carried out in the most efficient and safe manner and operating procedures and standards are correctly followed, taking corrective action as appropriate
• Use techniques to evaluate and solve technical problems in order to support the achievement of timely project completion
• Document, communicate and oversee adherence to quality assurance standards, taking corrective action as appropriate
• Prepare reports, records and correspondence on all the project activities and issues in order to ensure the details pertaining to the project are communicated effectively and management has enough information to support the decision making.
• Oversee the receipt and storage of materials in order to ensure that materials are correctly and safely stored and available for issue on site when required.
• Liaise and coordinate with other Departments in order to exchange information, resolve problems and ensure the provision of new shops that meet business needs
• Authorize payment settlement of manpower and materials as and when appropriate, as per the authorization limit set by the Company
• Oversee compilation and effective rectification of snag lists and handover to the concerned Manager.
• Communicates directly with the retail operations management to coordinate maintenance and repair work for the Group
• Monitor the log of the service requests received.
• Supervises the maintenance team and ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Conducting regular inspections and ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of a facility.
• Ensuring the proper working of all electrical units and systems in the facility.
• Keeping records of all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility.
• Communicate with the contractors to get the best quotations.
• Placing orders for spare parts and equipments for replacement and ascertaining the proper documentation of the same.
• Synchronizing work processes with other departments of the establishment.
• The incumbent would be accountable for uphold the quality and standards of the organization.
• Plans and reviews the maintenance activities and schedules constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Introduce a system to record maintenance call logs to analyze maintenance issues in a year and RCA there on
• University Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
• At least 5-6 years’ experience in Project Management, preferably in a retail sector
• Good understanding of relevant construction standards, systems and procedures
• Ability to read technical drawings and convert into a project plan
• Proficient in the application of MEP, AUTOCAD
• An independent person who can work with minimum supervision
• Flexible to work extra hours and able to work in a busy environment

Point-of-Sale & Cash Handling:
• Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and returns.
• Open and close the cash register, perform daily cash reconciliation, balance drawers, and make deposits as required.
• Ensure proper handling of charge slips, discounts, coupons, and sales documentation.
Merchandising & Inventory Management:
• Ensure merchandise is accurately tagged, priced, and attractively displayed in accordance with brand standards.
• Keep displays clean, organized, and seasonally relevant to drive sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness including shelves, counters, floors, fitting rooms, and windows.
• Regularly restock shelves and communicate replenishment needs to the Store Manager.
• Support stock intake, transfers, and verification of incoming shipments.
• Place special orders or coordinate with other branches to locate items requested by customers.
• Perform inventory counts and assist in inventory control efforts.
Loss Prevention & Security:
• Stay alert to potential theft or suspicious behavior; apply appropriate procedures to prevent or manage theft.
• Follow company policies regarding loss prevention, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Ensure compliance with return, exchange, and credit card policies.
Additional Duties:
• Assist with shipping, receiving, unpacking, and storing merchandise.
• Help estimate product quantities, alteration or repair needs when required.
• Wrap and package customer purchases neatly and professionally.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor to support smooth store operations.
